As a Children's Librarian way back, I used and reused Max from the book "Where the Wild Things Are". (See him with the library card.)

It all started with a sketchbook I got in January 2009, drew the likeness of my daughter (to my surprise), got inspired by cartoonist Lynda Barry, then this blog was created in May 2009.
