Hola! thank you for the compliment ^_^ that's a cute drawing of your daughter btw. are you going to add more to it later on? maybe ink, color? take care! -A
Love your sketches...I think it helps to sketch often to learn more? I am just beginning too, so much to learn. There's so much inspiring out there, but sometimes it's hard to create yourself! :P (andfeeling.com)
You definitely keep up with posting regularly better than I ever have. Good to see you sticking with continually drawing and posting - it's the best thing any artist can do refine their craft. Cheers.
Hello Ako! Wow i never anticipated anyone outside of the city of Bakersfield finding my little blog. Thank you so much for the kind words. Our blogs have a lot in common. Like you im hoping blogging will both inspire me, and force me to draw more. Your drawings look great. I hope you continue to draw, i can tell you really enjoy doing it. The best advice i can give is try not to get too caught up in "drawing the right way." Everyone wants to have strong technical drawing skills, but if you stress too much about drawing the right way, you run the risk of giving up, and not drawing, which is the worse thing you can do. If you love what you do, your skill will develop naturally over time.
Canga - And you're a teacher too? Glad to know a Pinoy successful in the field.
Christina - You should work for Disney!
Cadab - I like your watercoloring the most.
Valgalart- I enjoy visiting your blog. I'm pretty sure you will see Tucker again.
Meesimo - You got me started with that sketchbook. Had no idea how fun drawing and blogging and getting comments from artists can be! I'm adding you to my link. Cheers!
Totally new. It all started with a sketchbook I got in January 2009, drew the likeness of my daughter (to my surprise), got inspired by cartoonist Lynda Barry, then this blog was created in May 2009.
I must confess that getting visits from wonderful stranger artists out there is a thrill.
Everyone is welcome and thanks for visiting!
