This business of drawing who I think are classic beauties... hard! I had to re-do Sophia many times. This is the most I can do, folks. I think it sort of got her eyes, mouth, .... and hair! Definitely her hair!
I disagree. You ARE an Artist. ;P Art comes from the soul and is translated however see fit. With that being said, you can FEEl it it here in your work. (you just cant teach that) Lovely work. Keep drawing! You Rock!
If this is the most you could do, you did great! I'm telling the truth. It kinda got her eyes, her mouth and nose, definitely her nose. but In the matter of hair I disagree since I've always remembered Sophia Loren with her short hair.
the hardest part about doing a face to me is getting the correct placement of all of the features in relation to one another. it looks like you've done that pretty well here. next time, push yourself further and try varying your lines and then move on to creating value.
Totally new. It all started with a sketchbook I got in January 2009, drew the likeness of my daughter (to my surprise), got inspired by cartoonist Lynda Barry, then this blog was created in May 2009.
I must confess that getting visits from wonderful stranger artists out there is a thrill.
Everyone is welcome and thanks for visiting!
