It all started with a sketchbook I got in January 2009, drew the likeness of my daughter (to my surprise), got inspired by cartoonist Lynda Barry, then this blog was created in May 2009. What a coincidence! I had an old Rapunzel sketch I was thinking of adapting, but I changed my mind and went with something else. (However, I didn't have the idea of the ladder--like it!) Anyway, it's a lovely drawing. I think the elongated composition is really nice. Aw, sweet little dog, too!
