I missed posting and hearing from my blog friends!My darn computer crashed and so I had no access to a scanner. On top of that, I started with my new job. I'm now the proud Library Manager of the busiest and biggest branch of the Los Angeles Public Library. Yay!!!
Of course, my first project is to put an art display. Here's Meesimo and his caricature artwork. I am fortunate to have made a few artists friends in LA (thanks to Facebook and sketch groups). I can't wait to see other artists' artwork on future display at the library.

Hey Ako, so small world... I think. I was going back through some of my old posts on my blog and happened upon your comments. Not sure if I ever formally thanked you, but THANK YOU!!! I remember being pretty excited that somebody outside my circle of friends left words of encouragement. So... why the small world reference you ask?
ReplyDeleteWell, I was seeing what all my kind commenters were up to and saw your picture with Chris at the top of your blog. And I thought to myself, why does this picture look vaguely familiar to me? And than I shouted (in my head anyways), Eureka, I found it! I was Chris's friend that took your the picture of you both at the Alice in Wonderland show at Nucleus a couple weeks back. So yes, very small world (unless I'm mistaken). But good to meet you in person. And congrats on the job.

Congrats!! I always thought that to work in a Library is a great job, surrounded by books and other interesting stuff. Fun for sure. Enjoy!!
