Second Drawing Class

This time with my daughter Syndel who's 13 going 14. I didn't expect the nude model. Thanks to life drawing books I had taken home and she was curious to see. She wasn't so shocked.

  4. Nice! Good tonal values. I've never drawn at that height before? Did your shoulders tire?

  5. Thanks, awesome people for all of your comments.

Gerald, the instructor was teaching us a technique in which you keep going back and forth from a particular distance so that you can capture the cast "as is". Tiring. I'm not sure I'd do that style of drawing again, to be honest.

  9. Definitely getting the feeling of 3 dimensional volume in this one. Good underlying structure.

  10. I had such a fun time going through your posts. Really? You only started drawing and painting this year? I am very impressed. Your portraits of your daughter are beautiful!

I wanted to thank you for your sweet message to me earlier this summer. It brought me hope and strength and courage, and for that I am very grateful. Thank you for your friendship.
